九月份进入秋季白露之后，天气逐渐转凉，很多果农很重视秋季施肥，俗语有“金九银十，冬铜春铁”，可见九月份施肥的重要性。本文主要以苹果树进行讨论秋季施肥。
As a result of studies conducted in the last 20-30 years, new information has been obtained about the flower bud formation in apple and cherry, including some data about the presence of genes determining the reproductive organs of the apple. Some issues about the flower induction, histological transformation of the apical meristem, morphological differentiation of the flower buds, factors and conditions influencing the flower bud formation and the quality of the reproductive organs are discussed in this survey.

果树重茬障碍是相同或者亲缘作物在同一块地连续种植而导致其生长变弱的现象，通过调查和实践证明，连作建园或在栽植过桃、李、杏等其它核果类树的土壤里建园，如果不进行土壤处理，将会发生重茬连作障碍。主要表现为：树体严重发育不良，节间缩短，叶片变小；根系生长和伸长缓慢，生长量小，甚至褐变及腐烂；树干流胶，树势衰弱，甚至整株死亡。有的树前期生长良好，进入结果期时却突然死亡，给广大果农带来损失。
